This month, we’ve asked our contributors to name one room in their home in dire need of a makeover
lisa stanley | JOURNALIST Having almost bought a small but perfectly-formed little apartment, I'm most excited about converting the bathroom into an elegant little boudoir. I have my eye on an Art Deco pendant light from Unique’s Co and will be scouring antique markets for accessories: a vintage mirror, prints, and vases for fresh cut flowers.
MARIA CHIARA ANTONINI | DESIGN JOURNALIST I have too many books ¬ from novels and biographies to tomes covering art, architecture, decorating and cooking. I’m afraid the two bookcases in my living room are not enough anymore. I saw many nice designer shelving options at the Stockholm Design Fair, so I’ll be following suit with a newer and bigger shelf system.
TOM EPPERSON | PHOTOGRAPHER The one room in my house that is in need of a makeover would be my bedroom. I would not go as far as saying a desperate makeover, but it could definitely use a bit of tender loving care. A coat of paint, some light fixtures and end tables would make a big difference!
