Trend REVIVING HISTORY
One of the eye-catching designs was Fogia's Arch shelf by the award-winning Note Design Studio. "We sought to create an elegant design that displays things beautifully but also stands on its own," shares product desinger Kristoffer Fagerström. "The arches are its key feature but are also what keep it together." It also is a play on the typical design device – bent wood. "It made it possible to keep the structure light and is also a part of the architectural expression."得獎工作室Note Design Studio眾多作品中,以Fogia的Arch最出眾。產品設計師Kristoffer Fagerström表示:「我們渴望打造能油然散放自身魅力的優雅之作。Arch獨特的拱形元素是整體關鍵所在。利用屈木打造輕盈結構,同時能表現出建築神髓。」 FOGIA.SE;

Besides the well-received Gio Ponti editions that Gubi launched in late 2015, the brand recently introduced Multi-Lite, a landmark lighting piece first drawn in 1972 by Danish designer Louis Weisdorf. On the other hand, by Lassen revisited the archives to create multipurpose ceramic tiles; it also released the Twin Bookcase, a stark shelving system first used in the brand’s stores and now available to bring home. BYLASSEN.COM; GUBI.DK
