The peacock blue walls foster an intimate atmosphere. The period-style armchair in the entryway is a family heirloom. The daughter's room has a dainty feel; closets were kept in the same colour resulting in a streamlined look

孔雀藍牆即時打造親暱氣氛。這張來自某一時期的扶手椅屬家族流傳之寶。女兒房嬌小可愛；衣櫃沿用同一色澤，打造流線格調 wall designed by the architect – custom-made from thermo-lacquered steel and light-toned frosted glass – replaced the former partition between the bedroom and bathroom. "We wanted something different from the classical designs that have vertical lines," shares Agathe. "This geometrical pattern was inspired by some art deco glasswork I spotted in a photography studio and fell in love with." Thanks to the glass partition, the whole space is bathed in light, which filters through the windows on each side.

In the living room, the architect also conceived of an original and stylish partition – a screen-wall that looks like a modern reinterpretation of which is an oriel window with intricate wood latticework. "The pattern calls to mind wooden coat hangers," explains Julie. "The cabinetmakers did a wonderful job when they profiled and assembled the pieces, which are made of solid oak." Agathe had her doubts at first, but she definitely doesn’t regret its inclusion; for her, the partition has become the centrepiece of their home.

建築師也在客廳中用上原創而時尚的間隔——屏風牆看來似是 式現代演繹版，而凸出壁外的窗戶與精緻木雕刻交織而成。「圖案令人聯想起掛衣木架。」Julie表示：「工匠表現出色，以實芯橡木組裝出完美製成品。」Agathe最初的疑慮也一掃而空；對她來說，間隔已成他們家的焦點所在。
