Review MAISON & OBJET ASIA
NOW|NOW Returning to Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre for the third time, the March fair was slimmer than ever, trimming down the exhibiting brands to about 180. Succeeding Neri & Hu as Maison & Objet Asia’s Designer of the Year was André Fu, who launched Skyliner, an artisanal bath collection designed by Fu’s lifestyle brand AFL in collaboration with Cooper & Graham. Other key highlights included Framed, an installation by multidisciplinary designer Terence Chan of Terre, which featured pieces from Louis Poulsen, Cassina, Cappellini and Bulthaup; and the breathtakingly lush dining spaces from Sempre and Eichholtz. Notable new product launches from Singapore’s homegrown brands included the Tropical collection by The Rug Maker, the Bipod table and Shallow vase from Industry+, and a collection of gifts by Supermama. MAISON-OBJET.COM
