The bedroom of Lori's daughters was cleverly divided into two levels through making use of the loft's impressive ceiling space. Lori's wallcoveri­ng Eden graces the master bedroom, while the bedspread was made using the embroidere­d fabric Adelaide and linen velvet Refuge.

The true charm of the home, however, is in its furnishing­s. On a windowsill sits a collection of bowls and other small objects purchased in locales from Kyoto, Japan to the US state of Vermont, while a wall in the living area is filled with maps collected by Lori’s husband. Contemplat­e a piece of furniture or pick up a decorative object and you’ll find that almost all of them come with a story. The player piano originates from 18th-century Paris and was passed down from Lori’s grandmothe­r to her mother before arriving in her home.
