The bedroom of Lori's daughters was cleverly divided into two levels through making use of the loft's impressive ceiling space. Lori's wallcovering Eden graces the master bedroom, while the bedspread was made using the embroidered fabric Adelaide and linen velvet Refuge.

The true charm of the home, however, is in its furnishings. On a windowsill sits a collection of bowls and other small objects purchased in locales from Kyoto, Japan to the US state of Vermont, while a wall in the living area is filled with maps collected by Lori’s husband. Contemplate a piece of furniture or pick up a decorative object and you’ll find that almost all of them come with a story. The player piano originates from 18th-century Paris and was passed down from Lori’s grandmother to her mother before arriving in her home.
