Angela Locke adores Italian design, as reflected in her choice of living room furnishings, the majority of which are from Baxter. Linen-covered sofas by Linteloo add warmth to the expansive space.

Then she selected the curtains, fabrics and carpeting, all in neutral tones, to form a blank canvas upon which she could determine how each space would be used, and personalise it accordingly.

Angela took pains to ensure the family home is as technically advanced and functional as it is chic. She spent a month on the Lutron lighting and then went through the electrical plan with Mark Kavanagh of Future Lighting to make sure it all sat well with the locations of the furniture. "Our project manager was David Daniel and with his help, we found the process of adding in eco-friendly technology – such as the geothermal lake loop and the Nilan air cooling system – quite simple," adds Angela. She further credits their building contractors, Colin Residential, who were on-site at the time and proved to be easy to work with and very reliable.

This looks like a house built for entertaining, with its magical panoramas of the lakes that stretch on to infinity, the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, the stylish 12-seat dining room (filled with warmth despite its size) and the state-of-theart open kitchen. 屋主費盡心思，務求令居所集智能、功能和時尚於一身。她花了整整一個月挑選Lutron燈飾，再跟Future Lighting的Mark Kavanagh一同研究電線規劃，確保跟傢具擺放的位置相配合。Angela補充：「我們在工程經理David Daniel協助下加入環保科技，例如環形地熱線和Nilan涼風系統，安裝容易。」她亦大讚建築公司Colin Residential可靠，跟他們合作十分順利愉快。
