The three-bedroom penthouse residence at 101 on Cleveland, a boutique prime central London development in the heart of Fitzrovia, London, is spread across 1,477 square feet. Pairing historical design with contemporary bespoke pieces, Bergman & Mar has created a modern bohemian home brimming with artisanal charm.
Once the epicentre of London’s craft scene, the 18th-century Fitzrovia was renowned for its intricate furniture stores established by skilled French and Spanish artisans, alongside British traders such as Thomas Chippendale, known for his extraordinary mid-Georgian and Rococo cabinets. Heavily influenced by the dark jewel hues attributed to the Victorian era, the penthouse’s interiors mirror the epoch’s earthy colour palette.
The tone is a blend of deep reds, blues, and greens layered with mahogany, walnut, and gold. From an iconic maroon Camaleonda sofa by Mario Bellini, to the deep blue Fiorenza Armchairs by Franco Albini, to the Rosso Levanto marble Lunar Pendant lamps by Pietro Russo Design, all the furniture pieces have been carefully selected to create an inimitable space with a lasting impact.
