With a pro­fes­sional culi­nary back­ground, Joanne be­gan her ca­reer as a wed­ding cake de­signer. After work­ing in var­i­ous pas­try kitchens in New York City, she be­came the re­search as­sis­tant of Vogue Mag­a­zine US's food critic, Jef­frey Stein­garten. From food re­search to recipe test­ing for tele­vi­sion and mag­a­zines in the US and Asia, Joanne is now in Hong Kong, work­ing as the pub­lic re­la­tions man­ager for lux­ury French pas­try brand Pierre Hermé Paris.
