The Lobby

Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants (Hong Kong / Macau) - - Café review -

When discussing The Peninsula, it’s natural to associate the luxurious hotel with an equally extravagant afternoon tea experience – even today, it’s not uncommon to see locals and tourists alike begin lining up at noon to secure a table when the tea session begins at 2:00pm. Outside of teatime, The Lobby offers a variety of international dishes on its concise à la carte menu, including the signature Lobby Salad (a mix of fresh greens topped with crispy bacon, boiled egg, avocado, tomato and blue cheese), veal ravioli, burgers and sandwiches, and Malaysian seafood laksa. For lunch, there is a special three-course set menu. Seating is comfortably spaced and a live performance from the classic jazz band on the balcony above provides a warm experience in the elegant surroundings. Service is highly polite and professional.
