Cafe Gray Deluxe

Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants (Hong Kong / Macau) - - Bar review -

The 14-metre-long bar is often buzzing on the 49th floor of the trendy Upper House, with professionals and fashionable clientele enjoying pre- and post-prandial drinks. Seating is also available at window-side booths, yielding views of Victoria Harbour and the busy streets below. If you're not sure where to begin on the cocktail list, which includes tipples that will satisfy all cravings, the knowledgeable bartenders have a knack for recommending the perfect drink. A classic, the fragrant Earl Gray Martini presents Earl Grey-infused Beefeater gin with lemon and orange, the tea flavour shining through without too many tannins. More than a dozen wines by the glass are available on the list, covering the old and new worlds. The sophisticated snack menu is equally satisfying, with Smoky Bay oysters, foie gras bruschetta and polenta fries.
