Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants (Hong Kong / Macau) - - Bar review -

Champagne and karaoke is a dangerously fun combination but, if that's your poison, this lounge bar located in a non-descript building in Wan Chai will deliver. The moody space is decked out in sultry shades of blue and violet, with dim lighting and a crystal chandelier or two. The menu features a wide selection of champagnes from all the major houses, annotated with scores from at least five wine sources, including Robert Parker and Wine Spectator. There may not be any available by the glass, but there are classic champagne cocktails (mimosa and bellini included) available at a reasonable price. In addition to fizz, there are a number of sake and Chinese wines. Snacks are diverse, ranging from various cheese platters served with quince paste to iced abalone and even instant noodles with fried egg and luncheon meat, should you be in the mood.
