Tivo

Hong Kong Tatler Best Restaurants (Hong Kong / Macau) - - Bar review -

Tivo, one of the many offerings from the Aqua Restaurant Group, is one of Wyndham Street's more sophisticated and sedate bars. The dimly lit decor is modern with Asian accents, while the atmosphere has a relaxed buzz. Tivo has a good wine list and classic cocktails (there is an extensive martini list, too) that are reasonably priced for the location. Signature cocktails are fresh fruit-based, such as the Mandarin Twist, Yuzu Crush, or Tropical Orchid. The Italian-influenced snack menu has good breadth, with pizzas and pastas sitting alongside lighter cicchetti—beware, though, that the portions are on the smaller side. The Central location means the crowd is largely tourists and party groups, and it gets pretty lively on Friday and Saturday nights.
