The brand
This is a first for luxury hotel operator, Dorchester Collection. When Mayfair Park Residences opens its doors to its first residents in 2020, the five-star Dorchester hotel next door will begin providing services to non-guests for the first time in the hotel group’s history, making it a relative latecomer among hospitality brands entering the property sector. To emphasise the importance of its collaboration with Dorchester Collection, the project’s developer Clivedale says it is creating a set of amenities more extensive than anything currently offered at other London developments. This includes a 10,000sqft Health Club that 45 Park Lane, a Dorchester Collection hotel, will manage. Among the club’s facilities will be a hydrotherapy room, swimming pool and residents’ lounge.
The property
Two Georgian facades have been restored and juxtaposed with a light contemporary elevation built from Portland stone, making up the Mayfair Park Residences’ frontage on Stanhope Gate. Hairdressing, floristry, dog-walking and 24-hour chauffeur services are to be among the amenities available to occupants of the scheme’s 26 apartments. The most expensive residence for sale at this development is a four-bedroom apartment with study and media room, priced at £24.5m. Residences are on sale through Clivedale.
