Stars in your Eyes
Developed over five years by master watchmakers, Vacheron Constantin’s Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600 is a magnificent combination of innovation and fine craftsmanship. The most complicated wristwatch the brand has ever created, it was awarded the Mechanical Exception Watch Prize by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. The one-of-a-kind watch is a masterpiece of technical precision, fitting 514 components into a calibre only 8.7mm thick. Twenty-three complications are supported by the mechanical, manual-winding movement, including sunrise and sunset times, length of day, and seasons, solstices and equinoxes. As the name Celestia would suggest, the watch was intended to explore the connection between astronomical cycles and the earth, and therefore only features astronomical indications. The piece is as aesthetically beautiful as it is excellently wrought, and is supported by a six barrel, three-week power reserve. With this watch, you have the universe in your pocket.
