Remember how liberating it felt laddering your tights on purpose? Rolling up your already minuscule skirt to show a borderline inappropriate amount of sheer or fishnet tights? If this doesn’t immediately transport you back to your school days, never fear: you’ve been given the chance to be a school rebel all over again. Vetements showed oversize men’s pin-striped shirts worn over long, sexy white socks with boy’s ties as chokers, while Dries Van Noten’s rebels had eye sockets smeared with black grease. Alexander Wang’s gang mixed argyle patterns with metal-pierced leather and wore marijuana leaf-printed mohair minis and coats. These bad girls flirt with teachers, smoke behind the bike sheds and come straight to school from the nightclub. Who needs grades when you’ve got this much attitude?
