“Magic Exists: Welcome to Madrid” was the title of a gala dinner hosted by Spanish department store El Corte Inglés at the Grand Hyatt to promote Madrid as a holiday destination. The event coincided with the start of Cathay Pacific’s direct flights from Hong Kong to the Spanish capital, and it fell on El Corte Inglés’ 75th anniversary. With so much to celebrate, it was a magical affair—literally, as Spanish illusionist Jorge Blass gave a captivating performance that had the guests in awe.
