The First Ini­tia­tive Foun­da­tion calls on the past to aid the fu­ture

More than 400 guests will de­scend upon the grand ball­room of the Four Sea­sons on June 6 for the an­nual fundrais­ing din­ner of the First Ini­tia­tive Foun­da­tion, founded by Michelle Ong with the mis­sion of uplift­ing the com­mu­nity through sup­port of cul­tural en­deav­ours, ed­u­ca­tion, men­tor­ship and per­for­mance. June 6 also sees the open­ing of a free im­mer­sive and in­ter­ac­tive ex­hi­bi­tion or­gan­ised by the foun­da­tion and fea­tur­ing a tyran­nosaurus rex skele­ton, the first to be shown in Hong Kong. The ex­hi­bi­tion, in the atrium of the IFC Mall, will run un­til June 27. The an­nual din­ner, with a guest list in­clud­ing the likes of Ti­mothy Fok, Ea­son Chan, Jaime Ku and Ming Ho-tang, will con­clude with a red-car­pet pre­miere of the block­buster Juras­sic World: Fallen King­dom. fif.org.hk
