Yen Kuok strikes a pose with one of Niki de Saint Phalle’s serpent sculptures Eleanor Lam, René Chu and Ruth Chao were just a few of the familiar faces spotted in the crowd at a cocktail party and private dinner marking the opening of The Masterpiece Remastered, an exhibition staged by La Prairie in Hart Hall at H Queen’s. The exhibition, which explored colour, values, femininity, Swiss talent and precision, included works by Swiss contemporary artist Manon Wertenbroek that reference the late French-american artist Niki de Saint Phalle, whose colourful, eccentric artworks inspired La Prairie’s signature cobaltblue branding. The exhibition coincided with the launch of the company’s new Skin Caviar Luxe Cream, a remastering of La Prairie’s acclaimed formula. After the cocktail reception, VIPS headed upstairs to Ecriture for a private dinner.
