Edouard Mey­lan and Ber­trand Mey­lan of H Moser & Cie hosted an in­ti­mate din­ner in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Hong Kong Tatler in the pri­vate din­ing room of V-zug, the Swiss white­goods pro­ducer, in Cause­way Bay. The sump­tu­ous meal in­cluded lightly roasted lob­ster, white cod and a suc­cu­lent beef ten­der­loin rounded off with V-zug’s sig­na­ture dessert, crispy baked ice cream. Edouard in­tro­duced the H Moser & Cie brand to the gath­er­ing and spoke of its re­cent cam­paigns. The play­ful Swiss Alp Watch and Swiss Mad Watch, the for­mer pok­ing fun at the ris­ing pop­u­lar­ity of smart watches and the lat­ter draw­ing at­ten­tion to the de­bate sur­round­ing the “Swiss Made” la­bel on move­ments, drew plenty of at­ten­tion. Guests, in­clud­ing Wes­ley Ng, Gary Wan and Julien-loïc Garin, were taken with the time­pieces on dis­play, in­clud­ing the En­deav­our Per­pet­ual Cal­en­dar, and ad­mired the fumé di­als, a sig­na­ture H Moser fea­ture.
