The four-leaf clover has long been a symbol of good luck, but now, thanks to Van Cleef & Arpels, it’s equally regarded as a symbol of style. For the past five decades the clover motif has played a starring role in the French jewellery maison’s Alhambra line and has adorned A-listers around the globe. Although launched in 1968, the collection has a timeless beauty and pieces look as elegant today as they did back in the Swinging Sixties. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this iconic jewellery line, we invited four bastions of good taste to reflect on the notion of luck.
