A-CLASS ACTS

The acts taking to the stage at Wonderfruit demonstrate the festival’s truly international reach. A few names? Thai-swedish songstress Sirintip (pictured below), drum’n’bass pioneer Goldie, British electronic music producer Nightmares on Wax, tech house star Craig Richards— who has for more than 15 years been resident DJ at London’s legendary Fabric nightclub—and Tuvan throat singing ensemble Huun Huur Tu, who are playing with Carmen Rizzo.

GLAMPING

Forget muddy ground and stifling tents. Wonderfruit offers boutique camping, and we wouldn’t attend any other way. Options span safari-style abodes and bell tents, all kitted out with air mattresses or real beds, AC, power outlets and lawn chairs in which to chill with a beer (or kombucha) after a day of festivalling.

CULINARY HEIGHTS

Thailand is doing amazing things on the gastronomic front and Wonderfruit has taken notice. The festival invites award-winning chefs to create sumptuous meals for the event (last year they held a feast by haute chef Gaggan Anand), and puts the focus on healthy eating served up by more than 50 vendors, including Dean & Deluca and Morimoto Bangkok.
