CHI HENG FOUNDATION BALL
Illumination was the theme when the Chi Heng Foundation celebrated its 20th anniversary at its ball this year, and the Mira Hotel ballroom was fittingly transformed for the occasion. Founder and chairman Chung To and ball committee co-chair Cathy Lee spoke passionately about the work of the foundation in helping children affected by HIV and Aids in Mainland China. Cathy, a goodwill ambassador for the foundation, said the biggest hurdle was battling the stigma surrounding the condition. Funds raised on the night, which included a live auction, will benefit the foundation’s initiatives.
