Charity Challenge Race raises funds for a Tung Wah Group of Hospitals project

-

The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Charity Challenge Race is expected to surpass last year’s tally of 1,000 participants when it kicks off on Lung Wo Road, Central, on January 27. This year’s event, chaired by Philip Ma and sponsored by LGT Private Banking, has three categories—the Individual Challenge Race, the Team Challenge Race (for teams of three or four colleagues, friends or relatives), and a new category, the Hero Race. Those who dress up to run the 2,500-metre course, which includes obstacles for participants to hurdle, will be in the running to win the Best Costume Award. Virtual reality and other game booths will be on hand for post-race entertainment. All funds raised will go to the TWGHS Development Fund of Kwong Wah Hospital Redevelopment Project. www.tungwah.org.hk
