Evaluation of the Uncertainties in the Testing Items in Baijiu Proficiency Test

Abstract: The data of proficiency test samples from laboratory in 2017 were collected and collated, and the uncertainties of uniformity results were evaluated. Nordtest guideline was used to evaluate the synthetic uncertainties and the expanded uncertainties in the testing items of lead, methanol, ethyl acetate and ethyl caproate. The results revealed that the expanded uncertainties of ethyl acetate were the highest among them. Among the three factors mainly influencing the uncertainty, the uncertainty of standard liquid had the strongest influence. Compared with traditional evaluation methods, Nordtest guideline was more accurate and simpler because all the intra-laboratory and inter-laboratory errors were considered.
