Breguet marked the 10th an­niver­sary of its la tra­di­tion col­lec­tion with an ex­hi­bi­tion that in­cluded the line’s first pieces in­tro­duced in 2005, up to the nov­el­ties pre­sented at this year’s Basel­world. coined “la tra­di­tion Breguet: At the heart of an icon,” the ex­hibit was held at the Anita chan gallery at the For­eign cor­re­spon­dents’ club in cen­tral in mid-June.

the ex­hibit show­cased not only pieces from the col­lec­tion, but also a se­lec­tion of an­tique time­pieces bor­rowed from its mu­seum in paris, as well as an an­tique but fully func­tional guil­loché ma­chine demon­strated by one of Breguet’s master crafts­men flown in from switzer­land es­pe­cially for the oc­ca­sion. the com­pre­hen­sive ex­hi­bi­tion un­der­scored the la tra­di­tion col­lec­tion for what it truly is, which is very much a her­itage line that lever­ages on Breguet’s cen­turies of ex­per­tise ac­cu­mu­lated since Abra­ham-louis Breguet founded the com­pany in 1775. the ex­hibit was made open to the public from June 11 to 14, 2015.
