BREITLING Breitling’s New Racing Ace
Breitling’s entry in the adrenaline-filled Red Bull Air Race Master Class in 2017 will be piloted by Mika Brageot. Hailing from Villeneuve sur Lot in France, Brageot was the youngest pilot to ever join the French national aerobatics team, at the time being only 21 years old, but with 10 years of flying experience already behind him. He has been on the fast track for the Master Class, having competed in the Challenger Cup Championship and winning it in his second season. That saw him enter a mentoring program under the guidance of the legendary Nigel Lamb, a pilot who’s been associated with Breitling since 1990 – Brageot was but three years old then! With Lamb retiring this year, Brageot is more than ready to take his place at the controls of the Breitling MXS-R plane, dubbed “Skyracer.” His first race this year in Abu Dhabi saw him eliminated in the round of 14, but he will be more than ready for the next race in San Diego, on April 15th and 16th.
