The Clifton Club
is another venture into the sporting arena, with special tribute to the “gentlesportsman.” Available in five versions, this cheerful, sporty collection is powered by the Sellita SW200 movement, offering a 48-hour power reserve as well as indicating hours, minutes, seconds and date at 3 o’clock. All pieces look similar with their 42mm cases, but bear slight modifications: the two stainless steel case and bracelet versions feature one black dial with matching bezel and one blue. Two other stainless steel case versions are paired with the “all-road straps” with black dial and steel bezel, or white dial with black bezel. Last but not least, the black ADLC-coated steel case version comes with a black dial, matching bezel and sporty rubber strap. All five are accented by the color orange; a touch on the bezel, dial and seconds hand. The price point for this collection is kept at an approachable level so as to reinforce Baume & Mercier’s mission to open itself up to new customers and create new watch enthusiasts.
