Abstract The development of big data has provided strong support for the informatization and intellectualization of museums. in the context of big data, the mode of museum cultural and creative derivatives industry chain has also been innovated and evolved. the museum creative products show the new characteristics of presence data, data service and targeted profitability. In the development of industry chain, data collection, mining and analysis plays a propelling role in acquire user demand, enhance product design, promote precise marketing and industry cross-border integration. however, the industry chain relying on data is prone to some problems such as data solidification, information isolated island and industrial chain breaks. therefore, constructing a data-intensive network platform, building a copyright data protection platform, establishing a data management and evaluation system and accelerating data and industry integration is an effective measure to promote the development of museum cultural and creative industries.
