Delegation learns of CIIE success

JIADING government leaders visited the district’s exhibition area at the second China Internatio­nal Import Expo to learn about the trade and business needs of enterprise­s.

The delegation first visited the Amore Pacific Group to see its beauty brands and 3D facial mask printing technology. Last year, the company invested 300 million yuan (US$42.7 million) to expand its production plant in the district.

Then they visited Volvo, Toyota and Always Auto to learn about new-energy vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell technology and other aspects of the industry.

Zhang Xi, Jiading’s Party secretary, called for faster research and developmen­t into new products and technologi­es and support for Jiading’s constructi­on of a world-class automobile industry center.

Ltd demonstrat­ed its advanced industrial robots at the expo. Zhang recognized the profession­alism and precision of the company’s products and technologi­es.

Jiading trading group, composed of 25 enterprise­s, signed purchase orders totaling 3.54 billion yuan at the event. Most of the purchased goods are quality life supplies, food and agricultur­al products.

Jiading will continue to optimize its business environmen­t and provide more convenient services for the enterprise­s, said Zhang at the expo.

He visited Jiangqiao Town to supervise and inspect the security work on November 5.

On November 8, a group of 30 CIIE reporters visited Nanxiang Old Town and Future Mobility Park in the Automobile Expo Park in Anting Town so as to better understand Jiading’s folk culture and cutting-edge technologi­es such as self-driving and new-energy vehicles.
