It is a retrospective exhibition of Andy Warhol’s work. As well as his iconic pop images of Marilyn Monroe, Coca-Cola and Campbell’s soup cans, it includes works never seen before in China, such as his offset lithographs, photographs and videos. Visitors will learn of how everyday objects crossed the boundaries of fine art and how the artist appropriated elements of consumerist society, popular culture and mass media in his works.
