‘Ensemble Urbain’
APSMUSEUM’s opening exhibition “Ensemble Urbain” is ongoing at L+MALL. Curated by conceptual artist Xu Zhen, the opening exhibition in this unconventional space features artists including Anish Kapoor, Ding Yi and James Turrell. The exhibit highlights Kapoor’s “Random Triangle Mirror,” a round mirror consisting of a reflective triangular mosaic.

‘A Room That Can Move’
It is Chinese artist Zhang Enli’s largest, most comprehensive solo exhibition ever, a retrospective featuring more than 100 paintings spanning his 30-year career. Dates: Through March 7 (closed on Mondays), 11am-7pm

Garden of Zhang Daqian
The ongoing exhibition features a group of photographs by Hu Chongxian (1912-89) with inscriptions by painter Zhang Daqian (1899-1983). With Zhang’s inscriptions on every single photo, the two artists were of one mind, connected through a shared aesthetic conception of Chinese literati painting that emphasized poetry, calligraphy and painting in a new medium.
