PLANS TO BEAUTIFY WATERFRONT AREAS

Shanghai will create “world-class waterfront spaces” along the Huangpu River and Suzhou Creek by 2025 in plans spelled out in the 14th Five-Year Plan for riverside development. The riverfront will showcase the core urban competitiveness while the creekside will reflect modern life with a comfortable living and recreational environment.
