‘Somewhere in Time’
The exhibition features a number of canvases created by Bei Jiaxiang, a veteran artist of imagery style that stands between realistic and abstract art. Under the brushstrokes of Bei, the shikumen buildings, gracious ladies dressed in qipao, and rich and varied living in the lanes, all seem to trace back to the best days of old Shanghai.

‘Trees’
The exhibition brings together a community of artists, botanists, and scientists who, through their aesthetic or scientific careers,
have established a strong and intimate bond with trees. With more than 200 artworks from nearly 30 artists from China, Latin America, India, Iran and Europe, visitors get to see trees, a source of major aesthetic inspiration for human societies, as true partners in a shared world.

‘Blooms and Lies’
German artist Jonas Burgert’s exhibition features a number of his old works and new pieces in which he tries to construct another dimension filled with obscure human figures. Regardless of culture and nationalistic differences, his works are related to every viewer. Dates: Through October 10, 10am-5:30pm

Eric Carle’s World
The exhibition aims to bring about the charm of American author and illustrator Eric Carle’s picture books to young children and their families. Inspired by Carle’s works, children can try their hands at finger painting and craft making.
