Close contacts
t People who are in unprotected close contact with a confirmed or suspected case. The case’s contacts from the last four days before the symptoms showed up will be tracked down. t People who have had unprotected close contact with an asymptomatic case. The infected person’s contacts from the last four days before the case tested positive will be tracked down. t People who have been exposed to a potentially contaminated environment.
Measures:
Two weeks of central quarantine and another week of health observation.
Secondary contacts
People who live, study or work with close contacts.
Measures:
A week of quarantine and another week of health observation.
The contact can be quarantined at home if he has a fixed place to live in the city, lives alone, or can stay in a separate room from his family. Otherwise, he must be in central quarantine.
When the infected person lives in an apartment with a private kitchen and bathroom
t Close contacts: people who live with the infected person. t Secondary contacts: people living on the same floor or on the floors immediately above or below.
When the infected person shares a kitchen or bathroom with neighbors
