WHERE THERE’S SMOKE

RACE 1

The Multiplier ($52 to $37) shot clear 150m out after a wide

with cover run forward of midfield to land a betting move. RACE 2 Regency Gem ($360 to $190) made some ground without

menacing from midfield with late-market support.

RACE 3 Money was spot on for United We Stand ($53 to $33) who made

all with the claim well utilised.

RACE 4 Firming favourite Stand Up ($25 to $20) found one too good

after moving to the front 200m following a speed-tracking run. RACE 5 Legion Of Merit ($61 to $37) had his chance but found a couple

too good following a box-seat run.

RACE 6 Quadruple Double ($460 to $192) kept on gamely on the speed

to just deny Majestic Knight ($490 to $320) for the win.

RACE 7 Trader ($460 to $250) faded after a speed-chasing run with

late-market support.

RACE 8 Young Victory ($150 to $54) just failed to get up from midfield

with bags of money for him late in betting.

RACE 9 Happy Together ($1,370 to $860) came from near last for fifth

with late-market action at long odds.

RACE 10 Campione ($79 to $59) just came up short of going wire-to-wire

with punters coming for him late in betting.

SIN BIN

Colourful Prince ($50), in Race One, was given every chance in the one-one but found nothing when push came to shove. It was a disappointing run despite a downgrade and he’ll need to show more.

STICK WITH

Hava Nageela ($360), in Race Seven, came from last for a pleasing fifth on debut in Hong Kong. He had shown good form to win three times in Ireland and should be winning when fully acclimatised. VITAL STATISTICS
