新盤重鎮

雨水浸街

每當雨季來臨，大埔區道路經常出現水浸，特別是近大埔港鐵站的南運路，以及汀角路和洞梓路一帶。

校網

小學屬84校網，包括大埔官立小學、保良局田家炳小學、天主教聖母聖心小學、大埔舊墟公立學校（寶湖道）等；中學校網屬大埔區，包括香港道教聯合會圓玄學院第二中學、大埔三育中學、佛教大光慈航中學、王肇枝中學等；大學有香港教育大學；國際學校則有香港美國學校、康樂園國際學校、日本國際學校、香港墨爾文國際學校及挪威國際學校。

New Developments

The coastal area of Pak Shek Kok in Tai Po is going to be a major battle ground for new developments in the future. Besides Phases I and II of The Horizon, there are four more projects in development here: Ontolo by Great Eagle Holdings, Solaria by K. Wah Group, St. Martin by Sun Hung Kai Properties, as well as Mayfair by the Sea 8 by Sino Land.

Submerged Streets

Every year during the wet season, the streets of Tai Po are constantly submerged in rain water. This problem is particularly bad on Nam Wan Road near the Tai Po MTR station, as well as the surrounding area of Ting Kok Road and Tung Tsz Road.

School Net

Tai Po's primary school net is No. 84, which includes Tai Po Government Primary School, Po Leung Kuk Tin Ka Ping Primary School, Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Primary School, and Tai Po Old Market Public School (Plover Cove). The Tai Po District secondary school net covers Hong Kong Taoist Association The Yuen Yuen Institute No.2 Secondary School, Tai Po Sam Yuk Secondary School, Buddhist Tai Kwong Chi Hong College, and Wong Shiu Chi Secondary School, among others. The area also has international schools such as the American International School Hong Kong, International College Hong Kong Hong Lok Yuen, Japanese International School, Malvern College Hong Kong, and Norwegian International School.
