Uber Launch Private Dinner
A private dinner was held at Galerie Perrotin for the city’s movers and shakers to mark the Hong Kong launch of San Francisco-based transport-networking company Uber. Guests included Alan and Yenn Lo, Claudine Ying, and Philip and Isabella Liang. Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick took to the mic and spoke engagingly about the unique service, which operates mobile apps that connect passengers and drivers of vehicles for hire, as well as the company’s overarching plans for the city.
