THE WORLD’S TOP SHOWJUMPERS CONVERGE ON OUR CITY FOR THE LONGINES HONG KONG MASTERS
Asia’s largest international indoor showjumping event is back again for the third year running. The top 30 riders and horses from across the globe will be competing for a prize pot of US$1 million at one of the biggest equestrian and social events of the year. A skilled handful of riders will be taking home the Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy, the Laiterie de Montaigu Trophy, the Massimo Dutti Trophy and the Gucci Gold Cup. Riders will also compete against each other in a speed challenge through a course of 16 fences and a grand prix, which French rider Patrice Delaveau won last year. In addition to the competitions is a programme of activities including horse initiations and master classes with the riders, as well as meet-and-greets and autograph sessions. Guests will also enjoy refreshments from Michelin-starred establishments and plenty of entertainment on top of the exciting equestrian events—contemporary art exhibitions, fashion shows and champagne tastings are only the beginning. February 13–15; Asiaworld-expo; $330–980. WWW.CITYLINE.COM
