Fei Cui Fascination

Chinese Arts & Crafts to hold special jadeite jewellery exhibition to launch its latest masterpieces

-

From April 29 to May 12, Chinese Arts & Crafts is organising a jewellery exhibition at its Pacific Place boutique to highlight its Natural Fei Cui masterpieces collection, which includes necklaces, bangles, rings and earrings, all set with Type A-quality jadeite cabochons.

Fei Cui is Putonghua for jadeite and the theme of the event is good fortune and auspiciousness. Chinese Arts & Crafts compares fei cui to the Taoist saying, “Shang shan ruo shui,” or “The highest good is like water,” which explains how the best form of jadeite comes in a uniform hue, clear from cracks and fissures, and has a beautiful, glossy sheen. Chinese Arts & Crafts’ natural fei cui jewellery are created with stones that have not been subjected to any treatment or process to alter its structure or its original colour.

Among the notable pieces from the exhibition is a natural fei cui jewellery set of a necklace, pair of earrings and a ring featuring 11 jadeite stones in uniform hues of vibrant green. Each cabochon is of excellent quality, and is set in 18K white gold and accented with diamonds.

Another unique set is a gorgeous pair of earrings and a necklace that features icy jadeite adorned with a selection of precious coloured gemstones.

Chinese Arts & Crafts is a renowned brand in oriental ornaments and jewellery, with more than 56 years of experience. Each purchase comes with a certification of quality issued by a qualified gem laboratory.
