What does it mean to be a L’oréal Paris spokesperson? I’m extremely flattered to be part of an already incredible team of “Women of Worth.” L’oréal Paris is not about one single idea of beauty, but allows every woman to feel beautiful in her own way.

How do you keep your complexion even? Getting plenty of water is key to keeping your skin hydrated from the inside. As for the outside, I rely on Revitalift to keep it soft and perfectly moisturised. I also stay out of the sun and always carry sunscreen.

Do you have any beauty secrets? They’re actually not secrets, but drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep—that, and tinting my eyelashes and eyebrows. Exercise is very important for me, so I do yoga and Pilates. I’m also a fan of cardio dance classes. It’s good fun, you feel quite goofy and you actually get a good sweat going.

What are your favourite L’oréal Paris products? Revitalift, Million Lashes Mascara, Elnett and Miracle Blur.

What are your must-have beauty products? Sunscreen, cream blush, mascara, Revitalift and Lucas Papaw Ointment.

What’s your daily routine? I can’t ever stick with an exact routine, but there are a few things I don’t compromise on: sleep, water, moisturiser and deep cleansing. What is your typical day? Make the kids breakfast and do the school run. If I’m not working, go to an exercise class, catch up on some reading and have lunch with friends.

What is your favourite hairstyle? I love natural waves, exactly how my hair looks after spending an afternoon at the beach.

What’s your biggest beauty mistake? An asymmetrical haircut that I did myself. I was 15 and it was a complete disaster.

What are your travelling essentials? A cashmere blanket, my ipad mini and a good moisturiser.

What is the best beauty tip you have received? Tinting eyelashes and eyebrows from a make-up artist years ago. My eyelashes are completely blonde so I need to have my eyes tinted to frame my face.

Who are your beauty icons? Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren and Catherine Deneuve.

What does ageing gracefully mean to you? Being at peace with the natural progression of life. At times it feels like an uphill battle.

What beauty secret would you tell your younger self? Lifestyle is key—it’s important to take care of your skin outside and inside. But also confidence is the best beauty secret. It’s important that young women understand that you have to trust yourself to age gracefully.
