Thai property developer Sansiri opens a comprehensive sales gallery in Hong Kong, its biggest overseas market
Hongkongers looking to buy Thai property for residential or investment purposes can now check out the finest the country has to offer without ever leaving Central. Thailand’s leading developer, Sansiri, opened its first Hong Kong sales gallery in February 2018 at The Galleria, showcasing a range of sought-after developments in Bangkok and beyond, such as 98 Wireless, The Monument Thong Lo and Khun by Yoo.
Since it expanded its operations to Hong Kong five years ago, the city has become Sansiri’s biggest overseas market, now contributing up to 37 per cent of the developer’s total international sales.
Sansiri opened the new Hong Kong sales gallery, staffed by a team of property professionals, to cater to that fast-growing customer base. Designed to look like a luxury residence—with walls in a warm shade of burgundy red that is enhanced with subtle panelling, matched with dark oak floors, marble topped tables and elegant sofas from US brands Baker and Barbara Barry—the gallery conveys the classic but contemporary styling that you’d expect from a Sansiri property. The space allows potential buyers to investigate and experience the living environments at Sansiri’s top developments and find out about exciting investment opportunities, while existing clients have access to comprehensive after-sales service and privileges. It becomes the company’s fifth sales gallery outside Thailand, with the others located in Singapore and Mainland China.
The focus of the sales gallery will be very much on luxury and premium condominium projects. There’s the beaux arts-style 98 Wireless, for example, located on central Bangkok’s only treelined street and the only super-premium freehold development in the area, with an emphasis on attention to detail that extends to Asia’s first on-site lifestyle management service from renowned concierge company Quintessentially.
There’s also the indulgently spacious The Monument Thong Lo, in the trendy Thong Lo area off Sukhumvit, where the 127 units come in at between 1,340 and 7,125 square feet. And there’s Khun by Yoo, also in Thong Lo, where everything from the roof gardens to the outdoor swimming pool to the luxurious lounge comes with a focus on cutting-edge contemporary design, all inspired by Philippe Starck.
