Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu sparkles and shines in Boucheron’s charming Christmas campaign
Zhou Dongyu is one of China’s most dazzling young actresses. This festive season, the Chinese star is teaming up with French luxury jewellery house Boucheron to create a short film that brings to life the beauty of the brand’s most famous collections—serpent Bohème, Quatre and A Collection of Animals. Dressed entirely in white, Dongyu represents the warmth and elegance of a snowy Christmas as she shows off the jewellery house’s best-loved creations.
Boucheron’s iconic Serpent Bohème collection—which has been loved and admired across the world since it debuted in 1968 in the brand’s atelier in Place Vendôme in Paris—has become an emblem of the house over the decades. The serpent, believed to be a symbol of eternity, is crafted in gold using a special artisanal technique that interweaves both diamonds and gems seamlessly in a beehive motif. Golden beads produce the effect of cascading teardrops when the jewellery hits the light.
