1 CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA ASSUNTA

Also known as Torcello Cathedral, as the basilica is on the Venetian island of the same name. With architecture that reflects its VenetianByzantine heritage, it is one of the most ancient sacred monuments of the Veneto. It is slated for restoration by Save Venice, an American nonprofit organisation dedicated to preserving the city’s heritage. 2 MASTERPIECE The Masterpiece fair happens twice a year, in London in June and in Hong Kong in October. It’s one of the world’s leading cross-collecting fairs, offering the finest works of art, design, furniture and jewellery, from antiquity to the present day—everything I love.
