FEED YOUR CURIOSITY

In November, T.dining is launching Off Menu, a food festival for those who want a taste of the unexpected

- BY CHARMAINE MOK

With more than a dozen awardwinning chefs and mixologists taking part, T.dining’s inaugural Off Menu festival will be unlike anything Hong Kong has seen before. Taking place from November 15 to 17 at one of the city’s most iconic venues, the event will bring together culinary talent from around the region for a feast of celebrating local food and drink with a contemporary spin.

For three days we will be taking over the rooftop of the newly relaunched Peak Galleria, with its unparalleled views of Victoria Harbour. Participating chefs include Richard Ekkebus (Amber), Vicky Lau (Tate Dining Room & Bar), May Chow (Little Bao Diner and Happy Paradise), Palash Mitra (New Punjab Club and Rajasthan Rifles), Vicky Cheng (VEA) and Tam Kwok-fung (Wing Lei Palace). International chefs include Richie Lin of Taipei’s Mume, Hisato Hamada of Tokyo’s Wagyumafia, and Jordy Navarra of Manila’s Toyo Eatery—with more to be announced. Together, the chef pairs will collaborate to create 12 unique dishes that will be served only at the festival.

On the mixology side, Agung Prabowo of The Old Man, number 1 on 2019’s Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, will be crafting unique drinks inspired by the flavours of Hong Kong. We’ll also be celebrating the new generation of young talent, with three up-andcoming chefs showcasing their take on local cuisine through small bites incorporating inspiration from longstanding artisans.

Off Menu will deliver an exceptional culinary experience. Every dish and drink will be truly off menu and not to be found anywhere else.
