It is impossible not to smile when you’ve been given a bunch of flowers. Or when you wander, hand outstretched, through a field of wild daisies or past a bed of richly perfumed roses. So it is no surprise that jewellery collections are often inspired by nature: roses, lilies, daisies—you name it, they’ve recreated it in precious stones. But there are few brands that have been as devoted to the power of a beautifully made petal as Omega. The Swiss brand is committed to exquisite design, innovative materials and exceptional quality—and this extends across everything the world famous watchmaker puts its hand to, including, of course, its jewellery line. The new collection embraces the same floral design that was found on the crown of the 2018 De Ville Trésor, an Omega staple that has drawn critical acclaim from around the world. Named the Flower collection, its latest offerings consist of a number of beautiful jewellery pieces very few men and women will be able to resist. One of these is an 18K red gold necklace with Cornelian cabochon, which comes with a matching bracelet with additional cabochon in mother-of-pearl. The contrast of scarlet and pearl is particularly luminous, making this an ideal addition to any glamorous occasion. If white gold works better with your skin tone, then why not try the 18K white gold necklace? It comes in the same style, but this time with turquoise cabochons that add a
light, summery touch to the piece. The Flower collection also includes a white gold ring and bracelet in both turquoise and cabochon that each come adorned with 19 diamonds. The necklaces are designed to work with almost any outfit. The length of them is particularly elegant, made to sit low on the décolletage, below the neckline of your dress or shirt. Ideal for day, and happily paired with jeans and a blouse or eveningwear, they are truly versatile pieces. Got a husband with a penchant for good cufflinks? This season, Omega has also launched a series of classic cufflinks made in stainless steel. Square with blue structured Chevron rubber or round with black ceramic engraved plates, they are both very masculine and stylish.
They also feel rather familiar. That’s because they draw from Omega’s beloved watch range, thanks to the wave pattern design on the round of the cufflinks, which mimics the Seamaster watches. As do the stylish range of sailing bracelets in three different sizes, all with tough, nautical style textures.
Also for men are a series of key holders that are a lot classier than the usual plastic that we use to find our keys in the bottom of our gym bags. Made from titanium and carbon, as well as stainless steel and blue rubber, they are reminiscent of Omega’s finest watches.
