THE FORCE OF POETRY

Distinctive craftsmanship and attention to detail define a sentimental collection that will stand the test of time

Peonia Diamond, as its name suggests, has embraced the peony flower from the outset. The house even went so far as to unveil a patented Peonia 88 Cut, which reveals a peony flower pattern that brings maximum symmetry and light to the jewel. Unlike a conventional round brilliant diamond with 57 facets, the Peonia 88 Cut features 88 that are arranged so that when viewed through a diamond scope, delicate petals can be seen radiating from the diamond’s centre.

In addition to the peony, Peonia Diamond has long celebrated Asia’s ancient history. Its Poem collection is inspired by the cultural significance of Chinese fans, which were regularly used by women from noble families. Peonia Diamond has used the traditional moon shape of these accessories in its latest versatile line and the result is extremely feminine. Set with malachite, mother of pearl and dazzling diamonds, the mixture of wearable earrings, necklaces and bracelets are simultaneously contemporary and classical.

As it was common for Chinese calligraphy to be drawn onto these breathtaking fans, they were eventually considered artworks because of their exquisite paintings or poems—hence Peonia Diamond’s latest collection’s name. In a fresh twist, Poem features a stylish lace design, as well as another with tassels, both of which were created by Peonia Diamond’s skilled craftsmen, ensuring that this wearable collection remains fashionable as well as expressive. Each artisan who works with Peonia Diamond is required to complete at least 18 months of training, which is necessary to create such unique and distinctive pieces.

Like the Peonia 88 Cut, the Poem collection reveals extraordinary beauty that’s also meaningful. The house’s jewels might be fit for royalty, but they’re designed with the modern woman in mind.
