Highlights from the culinary programme during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year holidays include a range of special menus at the Grand Hyatt’s eight restaurants—grand Cafe, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse, Grissini, One Harbour Road, Kaetsu, Tiffin, The Teppanroom and The Grill.
Grissini, in particular, has long been a favourite for top quality Italian food and the venue now features a newly refurbished look with the restaurant’s iconic, cast iron oven, located at the entrance, turned into a show kitchen from which a chef will create the restaurant’s beloved grissini bread sticks. The open kitchen concept extends to the main dining room, where guests can also enjoy views of Victoria Harbour through the floor-toceiling windows while they dine on dishes such as beef carpaccio, cuttlefish ink pasta and Amalfi lemon cake, from a menu created by the new chef de cuisine, Marcello Scognamiglio.
And on New Year’s Eve, for one night only, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse will bring back its renowned club JJ’S to ring in 2020. First opened in 1989, the original club, housed in the space that is now home to the steakhouse, won a reputation for its great live entertainment. Packages include a set dinner, the countdown party or both combined. For a very special night, the accommodation offer includes all of the above plus a glass of champagne and a discount on room rates.
