A-POC LAUNCHED
An acronym of “a piece of cloth”, the A-POC method is another revolutionary development by Miyake and the chief textile engineer at the time, Dai Fujiwara. A single piece of thread is fed into a computer-programmed industrial knitting machine to create a fabric tube that can be cut into the desired shape without any sewing required. The experiment turned into an independent line, while further uses are still being explored.
