HOUSE OF WONDER

Founded by my friend Jane Chao-lee in 2014, Maison Huit is a design gallery presenting the world’s finest artisans and designers to Hong Kong. An accomplished painter herself, Chaolee prizes individuality, craftsmanship and heritage when sourcing collections. Through carefully curated exhibitions, Maison Huit introduces eclectic and sophisticated collections of art objects that range from sculptural ceramics and porcelain to antique silvers and glassware. “I used to travel extensively with my husband before Covid-19 and came across many exquisite objets d’art and brands unknown in Hong Kong. I wanted to provide a platform for these artists and artisans to showcase their works through Maison Huit,” says Chao-lee.
