MINING FOR DIAMONDS

Precision, high design and allure come together in the form of De Beers’ new collection, Reflections of Nature, which is made up of five spectacular sets. Not only does this high jewellery line push the boundaries of craftsmanship and technical knowhow, but it takes inspiration from five countries in which De Beers diamonds are mined. The Landers Radiance necklace is worth an eye-watering US$650,000. Various golds are combined and set with rough and polished diamonds that weigh a total of 86.6 carats. Subtle shades of orange, green, grey and pink are arranged to resemble the colourful coral and tropical fish found in South Africa.
